CONNECT: 20's & 30's at All Saints': Sunday, March 7, Following the Second Service Come enjoy good food and great company in the Parish House today right after the 2nd service. This is an excellent way to meet others in the community; all you have to do is show up!
Childcare is provided in the nursery during this time to preserve the lunch as an "adult-only" event and give any parents in attendance the chance to relax. A donation of $2 per person is requested to cover food costs.

You are invited to a ministry leaders' summit in three weeks on Saturday, March 13, at All Saints’. It will be a day-long retreat and seminar with worship, guest speakers, and a chance to collaborate with other leaders, solve problems, ask questions, and make better plans for effective ministry in 2010 and beyond. Please put the date on your calendars and look for detailed information coming shortly.

ALL SAINTS’ MEALS PROGRAM: Survey ASAC parishioners and vestry have been researching the possibility of starting a meals program for residents of greater Amesbury. In doing so, we’d like to utilize the campus resources and parishioners to develop a sustainable program in which a weekly meal is provided. As an initial step, we’d appreciate your feedback on a ten-question survey. The results are anonymous and intended to gauge areas of interest, skill sets, and opinions about this type of ministry. The preferred method of distributing the survey is via e-mail, sent to your address on file; however, a paper version is available upon request.

ALL SAINTS’ COTTAGE MEETINGS 2010 In order to exercise better exercise communication at All Saints’ and join together in our vision and mission goals for 2010, we are inviting every All Saints’ parishioner to attend one of the Cottage Meetings being offered in different locations during the season of Lent. The evenings will begin at 7 pm and end at 8:30 pm, with one Sunday meeting held at the church after the second service.
A combination of clergy and vestry members will be at each meeting to hear from you and discuss All Saints’ mission, plans, programs, and financial projections for 2010. We hope to gather for an informal chat, light refreshments, quality Q&A, and prayer. The schedule for Cottage Meetings is as follows:

CONFIRMATION CLASSES: Beginning Sunday, March 14 Bishop Bill will hold a service of Confirmation at All Saints’ on Sunday, May 23 (Pentecost). Adults and teens, age 16 and older, should attend a series of nine classes on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am. Classes begin on March 14 in the church. Classroom location is still being ironed out.
Confirmation is a “firming up” of the vows taken at Baptism, a mature, public declaration of your allegiance to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is not a completion of something lacking at Baptism but an extension and unfolding expression of it. Confirmation has four actions:

UKRAINIAN EASTER EGG DECORATING: Tuesday, March 16, 6:30 – 9 p.m. You are invited to come learn the process and symbolism of this art form, using beeswax and dyes that are applied in layers, led by Suzy Brown, Ann Conte, and Cindy Carter. The second of two sessions will be offered for ADULTS ONLY at the Parish House: Tuesday, March 16, 6:30 to 9 pm. All materials are provided.

A SPRING MEMBERSHIP COURSE: Beginning with Gateway Luncheon, Sunday, April 11, 12:30 p.m. Beginning with the Gateway Luncheon in the Lower Church Hall. All are welcome to attend the lunch to hear more about the course and to enjoy fellowship with others in our church. Our goal is that, through your participation in the membership course, you will know what it means to belong to this particular Anglican community of Christian believers and to mature in the Christian faith as a member of this Body of Christ.
